Honeycomb ceramic catalyst carrier (DOC)
The catalyst carrier is mainly used for the treatment of high temperature tail gas such as automobiles. The products are mostly cordierite material. After coating the catalyst, the exhaust gas is catalyzed and converted to meet the national emission standard. The product has the characteristics of large specific surface area, small expansion coefficient, high strength, high water absorption, good match with active component of catalyst and fast heating up, so it is very suitable for the application environment of the product.
The principle of honeycomb ceramic catalyst carrier:
Using the noble metal catalyst coated on the carrier to catalyze the harmful gas such as HC, CO, NOx and so on in the suitable temperature environment, the above three kinds of harmful gases are reacted with each other. The reaction equation is as follows:
2CO+O2=CO2
2C2H6+7O2=CO2+6H2O
2NO+2CO=N2+2CO2
Honeycomb ceramic catalyst carrier product features:
1. Large specific surface area: ensure sufficient contact between exhaust gas and catalyst.
2. Stable water absorption: ensure that the catalyst is firmly and evenly attached to the surface of the carrier without causing waste due to excessive coating.
3. Warming up: after the engine is started, the temperature of the carrier can reach the catalyst's active temperature in the shortest time.
4, low exhaust resistance: requires the carrier to reduce the exhaust resistance of the engine, so as to ensure that the performance of the engine is not affected.
5. High intensity: as the working environment of the carrier is on the bumpy car, the carrier is required to have high strength without being damaged by external forces.
